FileJoker Traffic Limit Explained
Updated October 2026
Quick answer: FileJoker doesn’t use a daily cap — it uses a rolling 5-day allowance. Premium gives you 60 GB every 5 days (about 12 GB/day on average); Premium VIP gives you 300 GB every 5 days (about 60 GB/day). Usage doesn’t reset at midnight — it clears gradually as it ages out of the 5-day window.
How the Rolling Window Actually Works
This trips people up because it doesn’t behave like a typical monthly quota. Instead of “60 GB, resets on the 1st,” think of it as a moving 5-day backpack: whatever you downloaded 5 days ago “falls out” and becomes available again, a little each day, rather than all at once on a fixed date.
Example: if you download 20 GB on Monday, that 20 GB clears from your usage total the following Saturday — not at the start of a new billing month.
Calculating Your Real Daily Average
| Plan | Allowance | Rolling Period | Average Per Day |
|---|---|---|---|
| Premium | 60 GB | 5 days | ~12 GB/day |
| Premium VIP | 300 GB | 5 days | ~60 GB/day |
Use the average as a planning number, not a guarantee you can withdraw it fresh every single day. If you download nothing for 3 days, you don’t “bank” extra — but you also won’t get penalized for bursting higher on one day as long as your 5-day total stays under the cap.
How Fast You’ll Burn Through It
On our own 500 Mbps test line, a single Premium download ran at roughly 11–12 MB/s. Running three downloads in parallel through JDownloader pushed the combined speed to about 37 MB/s. At that speed, a 60 GB allowance can disappear in well under an hour of serious parallel downloading — which is exactly why heavy users often step up to VIP.
Practical Guidance
- Track your usage before queuing a big batch. Check the traffic number in your account panel before starting a large multi-file download.
- Spread large archives across a few days if you’re close to the 5-day cap, rather than pulling everything at once.
- Use one download manager, not several competing browser extensions fighting for the same connection.
- If you regularly exceed 12 GB/day, the math says VIP is cheaper than repeatedly waiting out resets — see the pricing page for the cost difference.
